Gina Nicholas Gina Nicholas was appointed to the Board in October, 2003. She has a strong interest in conservation, forestry and agriculture and is committed to accomplishing the goals of the Houghton Keweenaw Conservation District. Gina has spent most of her work career in business consulting. She owns farm land and has run an orchard. She served as a volunteer for the Keweenaw County Land Use Planning Committee and is currently serving on the Grant Township Zoning Committee. Gina is a founding member of the Gratiot Lake Conservancy and on the Board. She is a member and does volunteer work for several groups including The Nature Conservancy, South Shore Association, Northwoods Conservancy and Keweenaw Land Trust..
