The
Houghton Keweenaw Conservation District sells a variety of high quality
conservation seedlings for erosion control, wildlife habitat, reforestation,
windbreaks, and many other conservation purposes. Seedling varieties generally
include
- Conifers/Reforestation
- Trees for Wildlife
- Shrubs for Wildlife
- Fruit trees
- Berry bushes
- Native wildflowers
- Conservation merchandise
Rental equipment is also available on a first come, first serve basis. Call the HKCD office to reserve the following equipment:
- Tree planting bars
- Tree planting machine and trailor
- Seeder machine
