Native Wildflower
Plants in 3" Pots
Native plants have evolved
here over thousands of years and are well suited to our climate and site,
resistant to disease and pests and require little or no special treatment.
By using them we provide food and habitat for our native animals. When
using native plants it is best to use those from your local area.
Black-Eyed
Susan
This
best known of all the prairie flowers is also the easiest to grow! Not
picky about soil conditions and will grow on almost any site.
Blue
Flag Iris
This
beautiful flower of wet meadows and marshes forms large clumps of sword-shaped
leaves from which arise blue flowering stalks.

greenish yellow ground color. Flesh is bright yellow, rather soft and
juicy, and flavor is fair. Particularly good for fresh market in cold
regions.

very hardy, productive and resistant to leaf spot.

season cherry is firm and maintains its red color throughout maturity.
