Forestry Assistance Program (FAP)

Do you have land that you recently just acquired but are not sure what to do with or do you have a management project that you would like to implement in your forest but don’t know where to start? You have come to the right place. The Forestry Assistance Program (FAP) is a free service, designed to help you, the private landowner, establish initial contact with a forester who will work with you to help you determine your goals for your forests and accomplish them in a responsible manner.

Through FAP, we provide on-site consultation, written information, and guidance in regards to topics such as timber production, wildlife management, outdoor recreation, urban forestry, and others. Following the site visit, we can then connect you through our referral program with various professionals—specific experts in the areas of management where interest was expressed—who you will be able to work with to implement the management needed to achieve those goals.

If interested, please don’t hesitate to reach out via the form below or give us a call at (906) 319-0060. We look forward to working with you.
